What would you do if there was no Internet?
Say the Internet went down tomorrow indefinitely; let’s say a crazy virus took it out. What would you do for work? I have been asking myself this question through out the day because our Internet has been up and down throughout the day. So, to stay productive I decide to make a blog post about it. It is very hard for me to think of a world without the Internet, what would I do for work?
Here are the responses we have gotten around the office:
- Print advertising
- Organic Farming
- Get the Band Back Together!
- Wrought Iron Fencing Production
- Snowboard Instructor
- Join the Freak Show Tour
- Woodworking
- Photography and Fine Art
- Further Education (MBA)
- Importing Stone
What about you? WWYD?

I’d feel a little more secure in the fact that my husband loves me more than a computer

If the Internet was no more I’d probably have to work 2 restaurant jobs, lunch and dinner, so my wife would see me even less. Then she wouldn’t worry whether or not I love my computer more. She’d have to worry about how she was going to walk to the doctor’s appointments with our kids. But wait we wouldn’t have health insurance so she would be walking to the welfare office!

Well, you would not be blog posting if the internet was down.
I just wonder what I would do without email. Does this mean I would actually have to call people on the phone? Would I have to go back to mailing letters and notes again?

1. Driving to a bookstore, Buying a book, reading the whole book so I would know how to write a for loop instead of searching for it online.
2. Driving to a restaurant, buying a bad meal, to see how good it is instead of checking the reviews online.
3. Watching a movie so I can rate it myself instead of checking the ratings.
4. Buying a map, spending some time to see the closest way to the bookstore, the restaurant, the movies out there and their times……instead of mapping them online…..
Let’s just say….mhhh…I hope the Internet stays up there

I’d probably marry a cougar and have her support me financially, so basically things would not change much.
