eVisibility is sponsoring one of our own employees in the upcoming Dublin Marathon. Erin Cartaya, who has worked with us since February, will be running in her third marathon this year. We are behind her (literally) in full support. As she prepares to compete on October 29, 2007, everyone here is getting just as excited to see how she does. Everyone sees her running at lunch instead of going out with us to the local fast food joints, so we also have high expectations.
Running 26.2 miles around the city limits of Dublin, she is hoping to finish better than her previous time of 3:27. eVisibility will be anxiously awaiting the results. It’s a once in a lifetime chance for Erin. She has been training hard for this; she knows how to go out there and compete, in any time zone.
eVisibility has been a supporter of its employees’ personal interests. Being sponsor for Erin in the Dublin marathon allows us as a company to reach out to other parts of the world, and to watch as she represents the company as one that is open to new challenges.
Erin graduated with a degree in English from USD just over a year ago, and competed in cross country. She says the running part isn’t as scary as the traveling; mainly because she has never been out of the country. But there is no reason not to go. Danny was impressed with the idea and decided to help sponsor her, to shoe that we are behind her one-hundred percent. She is blogging her marathon experience and keeping us up to date on her travels at www.Erin-Go-Run.com.
One concern that has arisen is the countywide wildfires that continue to burn. Along with several other co-workers, she had been evacuated from her home. Getting out of San Diego and to the airport is one concern for the marathoner, as her scheduled departure is just days away.

Dear eVisibility clients,
Thank you for your concern and support for those of us in Southern California, caught in the midst of the worst wild fires in California history. Due to the obvious dangers to both our business as well as our homes in the community, power surges make it unsafe to operate so many of our computers and hard drives. Your SEO and CPC campaigns will continue as the CPC and the client managers will be able to monitor their accounts from home, but will not be able to make major adjustments today. Please keep the entire Southern California area in your thoughts, and we will follow up on Wednesday, October 24th.
Thank you,
eVisibility

As some of you may know….THERE HAS BEEN A TRAGEDY HERE IN THE SAN DIEGO OFFICE!! TJ the monkey has come to the United States only to discover sadness and tragedy. Last night after everyone had gone home, with the exception of two nameless individuals, a human-on-animal crime was committed. We are unsure of how this happened but I have my suspicions! All we know is that when we came into the office this morning TJ was propped up in a wheelchair and a sign begging for money sitting in his leg-less lap. To add insult to injury there was $.30 in his cup, as if to say that each leg was worth $.15 (when really they were worth about $1.00 each). A warning to the two people who were still in the office when I left last night - “Hell hath no fury like the scorn of an office who loves their monkey!!”
BEFORE….. a happy surf monkey.

AFTER….. and empty shell of a monkey!
