Mia Hanley, Marketing Manager
Mia brings 8 years of sales and marketing experience to eVisibility. While new to the Internet marketing industry, Mia understood the value of solid search engine presence when she walked thru the door:
"I worked at a company that failed to believe in bolstering organic search engine ranks for 5 years. As a result, all those warm leads we used to get were dwindling as competitors kept popping up with better search engine results. Before long we were on page 5 of Google for our top key words. Sure, we still got leads from attending trade shows and running print ads but we were missing the boat entirely on the Web. It was a big shame; we held top industry awards, had best-of-breed products and services, but our competitors, with inferior offerings, were getting first dibs on the business we should have. So many times we never even had the chance to compete."
After graduating from CSU San Marcos with a B.S. in Business Administration and emphasis in High Tech Management, Mia started her career in Marketing with an emerging digital rights management company in San Diego, CA. "Up until the dot-com bubble burst it seemed like such a great time to be in technology! Deep pockets meant almost unlimited resources when it came to marketing. That was fun, but I really enjoy working with today's marketing landscape. Almost everyone knows how to work the Web to their advantage whether they're researching or purchasing. This presence, this 'eVisibility' as we say, is increasingly important and our customers know it. The tactics we apply to websites often change lives launching businesses out of obscurity, to experiencing prosperity."
Mia and her family live in North County San Diego and embrace the laidback, flip-flop wearing lifestyle often observed throughout the region. "I have a great family. They think I cook really well, bless them, and they're down for anything that involves the ocean. We'll pile into our rubber raft and row out to offshore buoys just to get a closer look at seals. We've swum with whale sharks, took a camper up and down New South Wales looking for surf and had some unforgettable dives in Fiji and the Philippines." Back on land you'll likely find Mia with her family closely in tow. They root for the Chargers, all know how to skateboard and love eating sushi. They are also proud owners at San Diego's most stylish condo/hotel property.
